Nicole is still in first place and strong. Zamboni is in front of Eirikur but they are close. still 600k left snd anything can happen.

Eirikur Ingi is now right behind Valerio Zamboni and a huge racing going on. In the first place is Nicole Reist. Like last few days. She prbably read my blog because she increased the speed yeasterday. Not much and probably just time management. And it worked.

Eirikur Ingi is a little behind Valerio Zamboni after 2 night. Their pace is similar and strong. Nicole Reist is in first place going fast but a little slower than before. She needs to be careful and calculate timing carefully.

First is Nichole Reist from Swizerland Valerio zamboni is front of Eirikur Ingi. The riders behind Nichole are forming a big group. Some riders are sleeping and others getting closer to them. So I expect it will look like pelaton soon.

Eirikur Ingi is currently in first place in Race around Ireland after the first 100 miles. And from his team he is going to ride through the night.Nicole Reist is in second and close to him. Zamboni and 3 other riders are in a group  few km behind them.

Race around Ireland

The race around Ireland has started. It is one of the biggest races in the world. My friend Eirikur Ingi is compeeting in the solo category. So follow him. He is one of few people in the world that can go without sleep for days and he can do 800 mile race and finish without training. He is a beginner so follow him. 16-18 mph EBC ride to Black Point

This morning I did a ride with the 16-18 mph group from EBC. It was a great ride and we managed to finish just before the storm. After my rides I always have some coffee at LULUs in the Grove. This time I sat down and waited for the storm to pass drinking my morning coffee. Perfect saturday morning ride. 

Back in Miami

I spent last summer in Iceland ocean swimming in 50 degrees water. I did the first 100 miles swim of around 800 miles total. My training during the winter is cycling in Miami and all over florida. My next long ride is next weekend visiting my friends from Iceland along A1A Fort Lauderdale.  Along A1A is a sandy beach that goes from Fort Lauderdale all the way to Jupiter 60 miles with lot of restaurants and beach life.  Like a paradise.
